Chinese snapper is a type of fish that has an elongated body with a large mouth, distributed in the West Indies-Pacific region. Starting from Southeast Asia to Papua New Guinea and Northern Australia.

Snapper itself consists of two types, namely white snapper and red snapper. But Chinese snapper is different from the others. Its characteristics are slightly similar to white snapper. It is estimated that profits will skyrocket when selling this fish maw because although it is almost the same as ordinary snapper, Chinese snapper has different characteristics.

The price of male Chinese snapper fish maw is more expensive because of its flat or thin shape at the edges. While in the middle it has a thicker shape. 

It is inversely proportional to the Female Chinese Snapper fish whose bubble shape is thicker at the edges but thinner in the center. So that the collagen content in the bubble of female snapper fish is somewhat less. That's why the price of male bubble fish is more expensive.
